POSITION TITLE: Lead Technician Layer I
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
POSITION OVERVIEW:ADB is a Nationwide full turnkey provider of
technology infrastructure solutions including Wireline, Wireless,

ADB is seeking a Lead Technician, Layer I to support the Facility
Infrastructure Team installing copper and fiber. This -position
provides a high level of technical knowledge and site supervision
to ensure successful completions of various -projects. The ideal
candidate will have extensive cable installation experience, as
well as a strong work ethic and an ALL -IN attitude to achieve
results.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:--- Perform Inside Plant Operations
including, but not limited to, fusion, optical loss, OTDR fiber
splicing and -testing, additions, removals, wiring connections and
modifications on working equipment and circuits --- Review,
validate and create High-Level Designs and Low-Level Designs for
areas of expertise --- Follow Customer/Industry standards for
design documentation and implementation --- Provide technical
leadership to installation and support engineering teams ---
Participate as part of the project leadership team --- Manage and
track time, materials, equipment, project documentation, within
project guidelines and submit -daily and weekly reports --- Review,
audit, and approve deployments--- Performs other duties as assigned
by leadership

WORK ENVIRONMENT:--- Must be able to work in a variety of physical
positions, like sitting, squatting, standing, walking and driving.
--- Must endure regular exposure to all weather conditions,
especially hot, humid and/or rainy spring, summer and -fall
weather, combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally
controlled conditions. --- May be exposed to uncomfortable or
distracting sounds or noise levels on sites of projects being
managed or -coordinated. --- Must wear common protective safety
equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard
hats -and high visible vest when working on-site.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:--- 4-7 years of experience with cable
installation procedures required--- 5+ years experience of data
center buildouts required--- BICSI Installer 2- Copper
certification preferred but not required--- Certified on test
equipment for phone, data, and fiber optic a plus--- High School
Diploma or equivalent required
